• Trolleybus: Line 106 (departs from "Hlavní nádraží" bus stop in Ostrava), change for line 104 upon reaching the “Revírní bratrská pokladna” bus stop.

By car

Motorway: turn off at exit 365 Ostrava - Hrusov.

Visitors coming by car can make use of any of the Zoo’s three car parks.

On foot

You can also get to the zoo by following a new public footpath created by the Czech Tourist Club. Starting at the tram stop at Cerna Louka, the path passes the Silesia-Ostrava castle, the Ema recultivated refuse site and ends at the zoo.
